There comes a time in every designers life where they sit back and say ” I have to many font’s to deal with “. This is where I was when I found Extensis. Font management tools are a must these days for any serious designer. Extensis has a full line of management tools for both Mac and Windows OS.
The one I still use, which serves me well, is one of their older Suitcase applications. It will allow me to see live examples of each font, or group of fonts I select. There is a option to create sets of fonts to store your favorites and you can activate one or more on the fly. It integrates with applications such as Illustrator & Photoshop allowing you to load fonts on demand.
